PROGRAM SCOPE

D-Max Cyber Champion (DCC) is a special program designed for Isuzu D-Max Loyal Fans. The program gives you an opportunity to work with Isuzu Malaysia in empowering the Isuzu D-Max brand among Malaysians.

To be selected for this program, you need to go through the following process

  1. Phase I – Application Phase
  2. Phase II – Interview and Selection Phase
  3. Phase III – Test Drive Phase

Upon your selection as a D-Max Cyber Champion (DCC) participant by IMSB, you become an important part of the IMSB team. IMSB is relying upon you, and you agree, to actively promote the ISUZU D-MAX Models in Malaysia.

Below are some key points that you should agree, at all times during your participation in the Program and performance of Promotional Activities to comply with these DCC Terms and Conditions, the IMSB Terms of Use and Privacy Policy posted on its website, product labels for the IMSB Products, and other IMSB policies, procedures and guidelines provided to you from time to time (collectively, the “DCC Program Terms”).

 

APPLICATION AND ELIGIBILITY

  1. To become a DCC Program Participant, you must complete and submit the online application and agree to the terms and conditions stated in this document.
  2. You must be 18 years of age or older from 1 January 2024.
  3. You must be a citizen of Malaysia, or
  4. You are authorized to work in Malaysia, and
  5. You must have a valid Malaysian Driving License.
  6. You are free from any medical conditions and are otherwise cleared by your doctor to experience ISUZU D-MAX products or services in developing video review or promotional content.
  7. You are encouraged to have followings on social media accounts, YouTube Channel, Instagram Account, Tiktok Account with at least 1,000 subsribers, which shall be kept in public mode and used for the Promotional Activities.
  8. You are not an employee, agent, franchisee, or partner of the company. You cannot act on behalf of the company. You do not have any authority to incur debt, obligation, or liability on behalf of the company.
  9. All information included in your application must be true and correct, and it is your duty to notify IMSB if anything changes after you become a DCC Program Participants and throughout your participation in the Program. IMSB reserves the right to accept or reject your application for any or no reason.

 

PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES

Once you are selected as a DCC Program Participant, you agree to use your best efforts to frequently engage in Promotional Activities on the identified social media accounts or channel, which has been approved by IMSB.

All Promotional Activities must be conducted in a manner that is consistent with the authorized use for each ISUZU D-MAX MODEL as outlined and described in the DCC Portal and any marketing or promotional materials provided by IMSB from time to time.  Promotional Activities include, without limitation, the following:

  1. You shall promote and market ISUZU D-MAX brand and product to customers.
  2. You shall be given an opportunity to test-drive and experience certain ISUZU D-MAX model and you are required to develop a video content about the model on social networks (YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok).
  3. You shall not divert the traffic from the IMSB content to another site, webpage or portal. All traffic should be strictly directed to IMSB authorized sites only.
  4. Posting photo and video content promoting the identified ISUZU D-MAX models as per IMSB’s request from time to time (“Content”);
  5. Communicating, networking and/or collaborating with social media influencers, IMSB’s social media followers and customers, and any other individuals requested by IMSB, to promote the IMSB Products as a tool to achieve certain objective and goals;
  6. Participating in training programs or special events on IMSB’s request; and
  7. Attending events, including without limitation, photo and video shoots, appearances at showrooms, designated events, and/or any other appearance(s) upon request of IMSB (collectively, “Appearances”).
  8. Share content using our brand hashtags: #isuzudmax, #dmax, #lifestylepickuptruck, or any other hashtags that shall be advised by IMSB.
  9. You shall ensure that your responds or answers to any questions that arise from social media pertaining to the content you have created, are only based on your personal opinion and experiences. It is not deemed as an official respond from IMSB.

You shall be entitled to an allowance of RM1,000.00 upon fulfilling all the above requirements during the program period.

You will be required to get IMSB final approval (requires you to edit the video if requested by IMSB) to claim the allowance by submitting a report with a proof of the above work.

 

DCC PROGRAM PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITIES

You acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for

  • Any and all activity undertaken in connection with your participation in the Program and on your Social Media Accounts.
  • Conducting yourself at all times with the highest degree of professionalism.
  • Behaving in a legal, ethical and business-like manner and maintaining the highest standards of integrity, honesty and responsibility in your dealings with IMSB, its staff, customers and sales representatives.
  • Presenting and demonstrating IMSB ISUZU D-MAX Models in a positive, truthful and sincere manner.
  • Including any product disclaimer or other language provided by IMSB with respect to ISUZU D-MAX Model in any and all of your Content as directed by IMSB; and
  • Providing your honest and truthful personal experiences with using any ISUZU D-MAX Model in your Content.
  • IMSB reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Campaign or these terms and conditions without prior notice, at its sole and absolute discretion.
  • The decision of IMSB on all matters relating to or in connection with the Campaign (including selection of the winners) is final and binding on all parties concerned.

In case of termination, you are required to hand back any confidential information or digital assets that belong to IMSB. As for the contents you have created, IMSB will have the rights to use.

 

PROHIBITIONS/ RESTRICTIONS

DCC Program participants is expressly prohibited from taking any of the following actions, each of which shall be a material breach of the DCC Program Terms:

  1. Purchasing followers and/ or likes;
  2. Making any representations, claims or promises on behalf of IMSB, other than those contained in IMSB’s official marketing and promotional materials (i.e. on the label or IMSB website);
  3. Promoting IMSB Products through unsolicited or Spam communications (including via emails, direct messages, posting comments, providing codes on any platform);
  4. Engaging in, promoting, contributing to, or creating a platform for offensive, sexually explicit or distasteful materials, inappropriate images or video, violence, discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age, or of any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, harassing or otherwise objectionable to IMSB in IMSB’s sole discretion;
  5. Transmitting messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill of IMSB;
  6. Engaging in any activity that violates or breaches IMSB’s or any third party’s legal rights;
  7. Engaging in any advertising or marketing practices that are deceptive, misleading or fraudulent, including using Spam or sending unsolicited commercial email or direct messages, posting commercial messages or personal discount code to any forum that prohibits the same or on any account’s posts (including IMSB’s);
  8. Presenting IMSB’s banners, images or videos as if they are your own or any other site’s (which is usually referred to as copyright or trademark infringement, and is illegal);
  9. Posting any links to the IMSB website or any other IMSB platform on any website in which users can post content, including, without limitation, Reddit.com, and any sub-page, sub-domain, or sub-thread thereof;
  10. Using any promotional coupon or code that is not provided to DCC Program Participants by IMSB for the Program, or running any ad with any of IMSB’s URLs offering brand ambassador commissions;
  11. Reading, intercepting, recording, redirecting, interpreting or filling in the contents of any electronic form or other materials submitted to IMSB by any person or entity; and
  12. Selling or reselling any of the IMSB Products, or offering a cash incentive or discount on IMSB Products as a means of promotion that is not within the context of the Program.

 

BENEFITS OF THE ELIGIBLE DCC PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS

For eligible DCC Program Participants that fulfil the above requirements, and in consideration of the Promotional Activities and rights granted to IMSB with respect to Content, DCC Program Participants will be compensated as follows:

  1. Allowance. Based on the responsibilities and duties that the DCC Program Participants need to carry out they would be given an allowance of RM1,000.00, subject to the completing of the tasks and submitting their claims.
  2. Merchandise. Through DCC Program Participant’s Promotional Activities, DCC Program Participants may earn rewards to that can be used towards the redeeming certain service at Service Centers during the identified promotional period.
  3. Appearances. If given the opportunity to participate in special events or Appearances, DCC Program Participants may be compensated for those appearances as will be set forth in a separate written agreement signed by you and IMSB. IMSB will strive to give priority to DCC Program Participants for Appearances but such invitations to participate cannot be guaranteed.
  4. DCC Program participants may be given a chance to do a unique promotion through special promotional programs. DCC Program participants can use this to promote the selected Isuzu D-Max models to their audiences.” In return the DCC participants will be given a token in kind.
  5. Exclusions. If a sale is cancelled or refunded for any reason, any amount pre-paid to DCC Program Participants will be deducted from the amount owed to the DCC Program Participants. DCC Program Participants will not be paid a commission on sales or orders that are in delinquent status. DCC Program Participants commissions are counted and final numbers are deemed final at the sole discretion and decision of IMSB. IMSB also reserves the right to change the dates of the commission payout. While IMSB makes every reasonable effort to accurately track and pay commissions for all DCC Program Participants sales, IMSB is not responsible nor shall be held liable for any technical difficulties, outside events, actions by other DCC Program Participants, or other uncontrollable events that may disrupt or interfere with IMSB’s ability to track sales or pay commissions. IMSB has the right to pay commissions to any other person, in its discretion.
